The reminders stopped, or never started.
Nag can only chase you if iOS lets it. Open Settings › Notifications › Nag on your iPhone and make sure Allow Notifications is on, with Lock Screen and Banners ticked.
A Focus mode can hold them back too. If you use one, add Nag to its allowed apps.
Pings only arrive during the hours set in Nag’s own settings, 8 am to 10 pm unless you’ve changed it. Anything that would land overnight waits for the morning.
I paid, but it’s locked again.
This can happen on a new phone, or after reinstalling. Open Nag’s settings and tap Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. You won’t be charged again.
Someone gave me a code.
Hit any locked feature to bring up the unlock screen, tap Have a code? and type it in. Apple checks it, and Nag unlocks as soon as it goes through.
Refunds.
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Moving to a new phone.
Your tasks live on your iPhone, not on an account, so they come across with an iCloud or device-to-device backup. If you set the new phone up fresh, they stay on the old one. Your purchase follows your Apple Account either way.
Hound mode went too far.
That’s sort of the point, but it’s only ever on for the tasks you switch it on for. Hand the next one over in nag mode and it stays polite.
